Hello there! I’m not sure what possessed you to click on this link, exactly, but I’m rather flattered that you did. You’re here because you want to know more about me, right? Or perhaps you’re just some wandering soul who has ended up here by mistake, oh god, you say and you backspace as quickly as your fingers will let you because what the hell is this.
Well, it’s an about me page, so if that’s what you’re looking for, congratulations, you’re in the right place.
We’ll start off with the basics, shall we? I’m:
- Alyssa, but I go by all sorts of names on here. If you give me a nickname and use it enough, I will eventually respond to it. Ain’t that nifty?

- a college sophomore, still trying to decide on a major and stick to it. Currently majoring in creative writing, but that’ll probably change too.

- hetero-romantic Asexual / mentally married to a long and ever-growing list of celebrities who are many years my senior and have no clue that I exist.

- the proud owner of a psychotic black and white kitten by the name of Becker (mostly “Buddy” and “Psycho”), and one teal (or blue depending on his mood) beta fish named Castiel, fondly called “Cas” or more commonly, “fishie fish”

I won’t tolerate hate/bashing of any kind. Good? Good.
This blog is mine, which effectively means I will post whatever the fuck I want and expect any and all followers who are unhappy with the content of it to simply click “unfollow” and be on their merry way.
That said, this is a multi-fandom blog. If you are following me because of my posts (and let’s be honest, 95% of my posts are reblogs) about a particular fandom, please don’t be offended if I suddenly start posting about something else. Chances are I have not abandoned that other fandom, I simply have found something else that interests me more for the time being and would like to blog about that instead.
As anyone who follows me knows, I get very obsessive about certain tv shows/celebrities/fandoms and sometimes the obsessions can last for months, but eventually that interest will probably wane (either through lack of new content or what have you) and I’ll find something else to occupy my time. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to talk about the other fandom anymore, or that I cut off all ties.
- Sherlock (BBC, ACD/canon and all variations of), Doctor Who, Supernatural, Hawaii Five-0, Primeval, X-Men: First Class, White Collar, Good Omens, Inception, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and others.

- Benedict Cumberbatch, Andrew Scott, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss, Rupert Graves, basically everyone else on the cast of Sherlock okay, David Tennant, John Simm, Catherine Tate, Karen Gillan, Matt Smith, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Alex O’loughlin, Matthew Bomer, Jennifer Lawrence and various others
If you followed me for a certain fandom and want to talk about it, message me! Even if it’s not my “active” fandom, I’d still love to chat with you about it!
On that note: my askbox is ALWAYS open, as is anonymous for those of you who might not feel comfortable communicating face-to-face (so to speak). And please, please please don’t be afraid to message me about anything! I know talking to other people can be intimidating (seriously, I am the worst at this) so hop on anon and say hi or something. I always love to talk to other people and meet new friends, I just sort of suck at getting up the guts to message people first or maintain a conversation. But please, don’t hesitate!
- I am also exorbitantly fond of hats. (no really I should take a picture of all the hats I own. I think the current count is: ball cap (2), newsboy (4), beanie (2), fedora (9). People give them to me as gifts, too, which doesn’t help. Soon I will run out of room for them in my closet and be forced to cover every available surface in them.
- I occasionally cosplay various characters on a whim and will sometimes post not-very-serious photos of said cosplays on my blog for public humiliation. (cosplays I have done include: Crowley (Good Omens), Neal Caffrey (White Collar), Castiel (Supernatural), Erik Lensherr (XMFC), the Master (Doctor Who), and Sherlock Holmes (bbc version). I assume there will be more in future, especially as Azzy, who is basically my other half, has expressed an interest in taking it more seriously and actually doing photo shoots.
- I like to write and once in a blue moon will be arsed to post some of said writing (most likely because Azzy or someone bullied me into it). I DO have a livejournal, fanfiction account, and an AO3 (though I have yet to upload anything to the latter)
- I draw, but not often and not very well. Highly unlikely I will post much in the way of art on here. Though I do have a DeviantART, it hasn’t been used in a couple of years now.
